B.O.S.S. is pushing waves of change into reality.

We invite Businesses, Consultants & Industry Professionals serving MWDBE’s to submit for consideration to join the ECEAI Impact Team. We are seeking Clean/Renewable Energy advocates seeking to impact the North Carolina & Georgia communities, through intentional education and/or services.

Our Mission

The mission of B.O.S.S. is to combine and leverage the collective power of its members - entrepreneurs, financiers, veterans, attorneys, engineers, contractors, developers, and other peer partners - to lead actionable solutions for sustained access to equitable opportunities in clean energy production, distribution, and storage for Black-owned businesses.

Our Vision

B.O.S.S. envisions a future where thriving Black-owned businesses lead the clean energy sector, driving equitable access to sustainable opportunities. Our goal is to create an inclusive world where we all flourish, leading the way towards a cleaner and more sustainable future for all.

Investment

Investing in Black renewable energy developers will ensure the trillion-dollar transition to a low-carbon economy diversifies wealth creation and does not elude Black communities. Fairly accessing solar development is the sine qua non of wealth creation opportunities that emanate from that access.

Supporting Black Solar

Supporting Black solar supports developers and properly endows a value-chain in which Black and business owners participate. That includes workforce, financing and supply chain development.

Solar Policy for All

Barriers to entry in the solar field are exceptionally and unnecessarily high. BOSS works to bring down barriers in the photovoltaic sector to benefit Black and diverse business owners. Development knowledge and adequate financing are some of the barriers BOSS works to eliminate. Our members are the hundreds of Black solar developers across the United States that beyond all doubt illustrate how the Black community is actively contributing to the low carbon transition. It is therefore important Black voices are heard in policy circles and lawmaking bodies to ensure more barriers aren’t erected and current barriers are hastily eliminated.

B.O.S.S. is committed to ensuring that all team members are treated equally, without discrimination because of gender, sexual orientation, marital or civil partner status, gender reassignment, race, color, nationality, ethnic or national origin, religion or belief, disability, age or any other characteristic prohibited by law.
